My first crystal lovelies!
A few weeks ago, I mentioned that a friend inspired me to try a new hobby. And once again I want to say how thankful I am for the motivation to attempt something new.
I have been creating simple but beautiful pendants with natural stones and it is so fun! It is such a fulfilling experience imagining the design and fashioning each piece.
A lot of wire-wrapped stones have intricate designs, loops and swirls that can actually end up taking away from the beauty of the stone itself. I have always loved rocks, stones, and crystals of any kind. (The arrowhead pictured above in the bottom left I dug out of the ground with my barehands as a kid.) They are all magical in their own way. My inspiration is to accent the natural beauty that is already there with more simple designs.
Right now, I have only created wire-wrapped crystal babies. But my parents did send me an early Christmas present, in form of a soldering kit! I am so stinking excited to start experimenting with it to create more beauties!
I wanted to share my lovelies with the world, so I opened an Etsy shop, also called Antlered Wolf Designs. I just finished listing my items and it makes me so giddy to see all of them in one place. :)
There are about a few that I am keeping for myself, at least for right now. We’ll see how my personal lovelies rotate as I work on more items.
