Affirmations in the midst of anxiety

In my journey of self-care and healing one of the most important things that helps me keep a positive mindset is daily affirmations.

This has morphed and changed over the years including signing up for a daily email from Moon Omens to start my day with a bit of encouragement.

A few days ago I was having a very hard time and my brain was stressing about COVID. It’s a hard thing NOT to think about, even with my avid avoidance of any form of news publication. 

Then I checked my email, and this was the affirmation for the day:

"I trust that everything will work out in my favor, exactly how and when it should. 

There is no need for me to stress and worry

I am focused on solutions and the best case scenarios. All is well."

What stood out to me most was, actually, let’s face it, the entire thing is 100% on point. 

It is so important to have faith that there is divine timing and things will happen how and when they are supposed to.

I can’t tell you how many times I have prayed for one thing and either got it later than I wanted or received something completely different, and it ended up being SO MUCH BETTER. (Looking at you husband <3)

The Universe has a plan for you. Everything will happen when, how, and where it is supposed to. 

The only result of stress and worry is the loss of peace in the moment.

Embrace the peace <3

Yes, it is good to research and be prepared. But once that’s done there’s no sense in fretting about the what ifs and what could happens.

Instead of focusing on worries, visualize the GOOD things that can happen.  Your mind will subconsciously work towards creating the reality that you envision, so why not imagine the fantastic?
